About Amanda
Amanda graduated from Drake University in 2022 with a BA in music with Elective studies in Business. Amanda studied under the tutelage of Christine Blanner, Francine Griffith, and Amelia Hammond. During her time at Drake, she was a member or the Drake Choir.
Amanda has studied under the guidance of esteemed mentors Leanne Freeman-Miller and piano instructor Ellan Hammond. Amanda has earned many awards including attending All-State choirs in 2017 and 2018, and is a six-time best female choir soloist award winner.
She toured around the Des Moines Metro as a vocalist for the band Blue Du Jour, participated in NATS, in 2019 was in the Drake Opera "Falstaff", and in 2022 she was selected to sign in a jazz masterclass with Alyssa Allgood and in a performance at the jazz club Noce along side Gina Gedler.
Amanda will be teaching vocal lessons, acting as a substitute instructor and will be assisting with The Community Arts Program.
